This week in Science the children in Turtles have begun exploring how seeds grow. We explored a variety of seeds and planted our own runner beans. We are looking forward to observing them closely as they grow

In Science this week Turtles have been learning to identify the basic parts of a flowering plant. They worked scientifically to dissect a Marigold and explore the parts.

Wow! What a super day Penguin class have had exploring Chatsworth Gardens. The children throughly enjoyed our explorations and worked incredibly hard when identifying and naming different flowers and trees.

Snow Leopards have added the finishing touches to their trains today.

Snow Leopards have created some amazing dinosaur eye sculptures today with the help of our art visitor Amy Bairstow.

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Penguin class now have their Christmas tree up in the classroom. As we start the festivities, there’s lots of Christmas stories to share and our Christmas tree decorations are well under way!

It melts your heart a little when your key text in Literacy has become a favourite for a child to read to the teddies under the Christmas tree.

Penguin class are enjoying the introduction to our new topic Prehistoric Predators, through learning all about Mary Anning and her fossil hunting.

You thought dinosaurs were extinct well today in EYFS we met Jam 🦕🦖

Wowee! We have absolutely loved making our clay dinosaur eyes! Jaguars class worked very hard to sculpt the shape and then add lots of scaly texture. They look very impressive!

‘Tinker Time’ with our new robots! Jaguars Class had a great time exploring the different buttons on the robots and seeing which direction they would go!
