🧵 Jessica, a graduate student at University of Windsor, is conducting a research project under the mentorship of Nadia Azar, PhD. The project aims to provide a descriptive analysis of the upper body kinematics of conductors.

Watching ⁦rockstar Nadia Azar, PhD⁩ ⁦DRUMMERLab.official, who does research with rock stars!⁩ 🤩 Their research has found that education on preventing injuries decreased playing-related MSDs in drummers. #PAMA2023

You know I love that she is doing qualitative research… and I also love these findings. Education on prevention (PrevEd) is essential, and beneficial for students, teachers and educational institutions. Not doing so is costly (personal; healthcare; institutional).
