The media build up continues And not a word from NHS England Workforce, Training and Education or leadership of NHS England Dr Navina Evans Professor Stephen Powis Quickly on social media to bemoan toxicity about PAs Not a peep about the 'foreigner stealing our jobs' narrative...singularly caused by rank poor workforce

Spoke to all doctors at Charing Cross hospital today. It's clear doctors will not stand for further austerity and expect full pay restoration. There was significant appeitite for ballot dates to be announced immediately. The 22% pay cut must be reversed.

Interesting answer and thanks for engaging Ajay but that’s not what I asked. I asked if the college would kindly reveal how many votes for president elect Mumtaz Patel came from doctors who live and work in Iraq?

Are you a UK doctor facing unemployment? Remember when you’re signing on at the job centre this summer that govt is using a private company to sell jobs directly to Indian doctors. Oh, and here’s a picture of the bloke in charge of workforce planning signing the deal💰

Newly qualified GPs are retraining as bus drivers due to a shocking lack of jobs. Meanwhile, patients are waiting weeks for GP appointments. Wes Streeting how is this happening during an NHS crisis? What a disgraceful waste of talent. The system is failing doctors and patients!

We need an urgent solution to the rising competition ratios. Patients want to see more doctors. Doctors want to be trained. Surely the solution is obvious? Do proper workforce planning. And while training posts remain scarce, prospectively prioritise UK graduates

"My non-medic friends are all settling down and buying houses, whilst I have no idea which part of the country I’m going to be yeeted to." Sums it up beautifully, doctors often put their lives on hold for medicine. The question, is it worth it? Currently, that answer is no.

Over 2 months ago I predicted that UMAPs co-opting the term "College" to grant faux legitimacy and that the GMC would use that to endorse their guidelines And here we are I. Told. You. So.

Dr Luke Craddock Qualified in 2009 and became a consultant after a long and painful journey. Life put on hold for the next hoop to jump, then the next. I’m ok with where I am now, but working conditions are still very sub-par so the sacrifice wasn’t worth it.

Ridiculous response. Psychiatry arguably requires the strongest level of communication of all specialties and greatly benefits from cultural understanding of the UK, which often can be very different depending on region. Yet they let a GP entrance exam choose their trainees.

Taken from Reddit, 200 written applications from F2s applying to teaching fellow posts. The majority of current F2s entered medical school with priority for specialty training and almost guaranteed employment. Now they are likely unemployed come August.

The question to the BMA, RCGP, and RCP What are you going to do about it? Social Media posts and strong words won't cut it anymore

Will we see prioritisation of UK graduates and/or citizens alongside this publication? The question on the minds of many F2 doctors facing potential unemployment this August.
