Spoke to all doctors at Charing Cross hospital today. It's clear doctors will not stand for further austerity and expect full pay restoration. There was significant appeitite for ballot dates to be announced immediately. The 22% pay cut must be reversed.

Newly qualified GPs are retraining as bus drivers due to a shocking lack of jobs. Meanwhile, patients are waiting weeks for GP appointments. Wes Streeting how is this happening during an NHS crisis? What a disgraceful waste of talent. The system is failing doctors and patients!

We need an urgent solution to the rising competition ratios. Patients want to see more doctors. Doctors want to be trained. Surely the solution is obvious? Do proper workforce planning. And while training posts remain scarce, prospectively prioritise UK graduates
