We recently concluded our Microscopy Image Contest and just wanted to take a second to highlight our finalists! In first place was Wendy Wang at University of Toronto with an image of interneurons in a mouse cerebellum labeled with membrane-targeted fluorescent proteins:

Our second place finalist was Lauren Rylaarsdam at Northwestern University, showing excitatory neurons on a multielectrode array:

And in third place we had Frank Raven at Univeristy of Michigan with a Brainbow image of dentate gyrus in a mouse hippocampus:
