"It's eye-test, it's gut – people can't get off the analytics for some reason." – #Dodgers manager Dave Roberts on trusting his gut over analytics in Game 7.

Look at his body shape, posture and the way he strikes the ball. Already ahead of many kids twice his age. He isn’t going to *burnout*. Competence and confidence helps players stay in the game for longer.

Anyone who thinks or says Bron doesn’t help this Lakers squad is just trying to click bait. How does not adding one of the greatest players of all-time, an elite cutter and someone who just gets you numbers regardless of his position or role not help you?

The truth for upcoming players: If you aren’t willing to do extra work now, you won’t do extra work when you get to the next level. If you don’t do extra work at the next level, you won’t get to play. Players & Coaches at any level in University are very serious.

Watching the UVIC vs UBC courtside game and count 9+ DRIVE Alums playing in this game. Think it might be the most in a post secondary game we’ve had. Good game UBC leads 57-53 in the 3rd Q.

Ppl give Canada West a hard time for many things especially charging for Canada West TV. But the service Canada West TV provides is actually top notch. Almost always reliable and has commentary for all the games. Switching amongst games on game nights is very easy too.

Todd Jordan is one of the most underrated coaches in Canada West. UNBC just beat TWU 75-65. He does a remarkable job out there at UNBC, very impressive.

1st yr UBC G Zeru Abera played crucial mins for UBC tonight & helped them w/ the big win over UVIC. Looked so comfortable & just showed that he really knows how to play. Sometimes we overthink & don’t focus on who can actually hoop. He was once cut from the BC 17 team.

She grew up playing with and against boys, it’s obvious. The body shape, posture, movement, scanning, aggression, attitude. All of it.

UCLA vs Oklahoma women’s game was a great game to watch. UCLA are mature, talented and so well coached. Chavez is so young so don’t want to drag on her performance but she did struggle.

Quinn has been a guy I’ve been surprised hasn’t been mentioned in more HC opportunities the last few years. Maybe he is going to wait Spo out. Watched the game live, the NBA is so good right now almost like a great stock that bottomed and now continuing their climb.

In hoops, the tape never lies. You can say whatever you like and make all the excuses you want but at the end of the day the tape doesn’t lie. Always work harder than you talk.

Watching Bluechips. Still holds up so well. They should make a modern version of this movie with upgraded facilities, NIL and everything going on now. Also, the Penny Hardaway “Butch McRae” scenes are so damn good and the reason why so many of us 80’s babies loved Penny.

Great passing is my favorite part of basketball. There’s nothing like the positive energy a great playmaker brings to a team. And I’m not talking about guys chasing assists. Jokic just makes the right pass over and over again intuitively.

Draymond just clearly explained the key to team basketball success. Hopefully this quote doesn’t just go away and lives on.
