First of five events for the Pint of Science AU festival is underway at the Queens Arms in #Bendigo!! Ing Kong from La Trobe University Bendigo telling us all about agricultural plastic and how her research is finding innovative ways to reuse and recycle it!!

Our second speaker at #Pint24 Pint of Science AU in #Bendigo is Haylo Roberts (he/him) a La Trobe University alumni who now works on using environmental DNA for conservation efforts!

Over at The Golden Vine in Bendigo our final #PintAU night is all about psychology! Starting off with Amy Siobhan Millard, a PhD student from La Trobe University Bendigo, talking about the tricks your brain plays on perception!!

Last talk for #Pint24 from A/Prof Brian Haskins PhD giving us all some amazing hands on CPR training and an appreciation for the roles of bystanders during cardiac arrests!!! Huge increases in survival just by following the “Call, Push, Shock” approach!
