I didnโ€™t know that saying Reformed things results in failing a presbytery exam in the PCA. If Tim Keller had said it, it might have been overlooked, but DW captures everyoneโ€™s attention.

๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ We donโ€™t change hearts by sharing the Gospel. ๐Ÿ™ We proclaim, pray, disciple. โš–๏ธ We judge actions, not motives. โœ๏ธ God alone transforms hearts. ๐ŸŒ Cultural Christians? Only God knows!

Complementarianism was never the strong fortress many thought it was. It was built as a reaction against feminism, but it accepted feminismโ€™s basic assumptions from the start. It reduced Godโ€™s design for men and women to a handful of isolated prooftexts about the home and church

1 Timothy 3:2 says an elder must be แผ„ฮผฮฑฯ‡ฮฟฮฝ, translated in variously as "not quarrelsome" (ESV), "peaceable" (NASB, BDAG), "not a brawler" (KJV). 2 Timothy 2:24 uses the same root word (ฮผฮฌฯ‡ฮฟฮผฮฑฮน) to say the Lord's servant must not "be quarrelsome" (ESV, NASB) or not "strive"

A Christian nation is not merely possibleโ€”it is a divine calling for all peoples! The Kingdom of Jesus is in this world, actively transforming individuals, families, churches, and entire societies.

For the most part, CN shares the biblical principles of Church and State, establishmentarianism, and political doctrine with Confessional Reformed theology. This cannot be said of R2K โ€œReformedโ€ pietism of D G Hart, R. Scott Clark, Michael Horton, and others.

Poor R. Scott Clark labels every historical figure as an โ€œanti-theocratโ€, yet he selectively reads his sources, essentially ignoring the overwhelming evidence for theocracy in the Reformed tradition.
