This type of fun is a great way to reach the athletes on your team that are high in Influence (DISC)! Let those high I profiles help spread the laughter & influence their teammates to relax (I profiles are pretty good at it!). Besides, smiles go a long way in releasing anxiety 😊

I’ve used this idea for goal setting for individuals too. The game-like approach to goal-setting is a fun twist. Have them think of rewards for a Bingo!

Do your over apologize? That can be a sign of: perfectionism, low confidence, people-pleasing. Save your apologies for mistakes & take ownership. Instead, express gratitude, be assertive, or state facts. Break the habit of apologizing for everything

A) What works for you won’t work for all. Find what works for YOU & own it. B) If you’re focused on what someone else is doing/saying then you’ll miss cues, instructions, etc that YOU need. Keep your focus on what YOU can do, think, say. That’s not your circus over there.

Ever been doubted? Did you know you can choose to use that doubt as fuel to drive you forward? This gets into the Let Them theory. They can doubt you & you can still do the thing. Others’ doubt = energy/fuel! Now get to work!

The tone in which you talk to yourself should match the intensity you need. This girl is encouraging herself & keeping her & the horse calm & relaxed. Perfect when riding horses. Need more energy? Speak with more energy.

One characteristic I see from people with strong self-awareness & high EI is admitting they don’t know all the things. If people claim they do & they don’t have the skills, it could be 👇or low self-confidence.

The HH was ahead of the times! He learned how to manage his energy & streamline his thinking to relevant cues & information. When we can stay present, control our attention, & lock our focus in, we can get the job done. With a base physical skill set of course 😊

One of our most important career decisions is who we marry. People earn more—and are happier—if their spouses are dependable and hardworking. Conscientious partners give more support and model better habits. We don't only benefit from our loved ones' strengths; we absorb them.

Mental rehearsal. You activate the same part of your brain you use when you physically do the task which means you’re getting extra practice! Plan your actions & decisions before physical action to help you be more likely to succeed EVEN IF you don’t do what you planned.
