In short, Bamford's "Operation Northwoods" fits very easily into the most prominent "conspiracy theory," the theory that both JFK assassination & 9/11 were INSIDE JOBS executed by the "Military-Industrial Complex" or "Deep State" 83/

This kind of "conspiracy theory" was first popularized in the 1962 novel & 1964 movie Seven Days in May in which the right-wing chair of the Joint Chiefs (played by Burt Lancaster) orchestrates a coup agst a liberal president (Frederic March). 84/

I believe part of the answer as to HOW & WHY the lie was propagandized is that the people who promote "Operation Northwoods" NEVER question Bamford's work and they NEVER consider the solid evidence pointing the finger at Israel for orchestrating both JFK & 9/11 10/

Since 2018 I have posted many tweets encouraging people to read Michael Collins Piper's book Final Judgment which, based on my decades of research into the JFK assassination, I consider hands down the best book on the subject and starting place for any serious investigation. 11/

I have also long urged people to read Laurent Guyenot's excellent work on the JFK & RFK assassinations that confirms what Piper earlier concluded about the role of Israel in both assassinations. 12/
