The afternoon has kicked off with a wonderful talk from SHINE about their Ser Bach project. Empowering children with hydrocephalus & spina bifida to manage their condition with their "Shall wee talk?"

Taking a 234 breath with anna baverstock Wellbeing in teams at work, remembering to recharge not just outside of work but having those moments in work to refill our cups #sddconf23

Great final session from an awesome after tea programme Michael Mckean talking about a ground up approach to health policy RCPCH Wales #SDDConf23 Why did we become paediatricians? Need to reconnect with this to enable change and make CYP a priority

We had a wonderful afternoon; after the break we had Cora Doherty from UHW NICU discussing how we can optimise neonatal safety. Exciting developments in their incident reporting system that involved neonatal triggers! Also tea and cake!!

Final talk of the day was from Michael Mckean about how we can approach policy in practice. Lush to see how we are leading the way in Wales in some areas of policy! Also prompted us to think about the why? Remind ourselves to bring it back to why we got into paeds #sddconf23
