Today we created vocabulary collages to review unit 4 vocabulary. Students loved being creative to depict words in pictures. #engagePrairie ⁦Prairie Elementary

We are using Fan N Pick to practice replacing nouns with pronouns. I love cutting up worksheets and using them in a more engaging way! #engagePrairie Prairie Elementary

Student experts created posters to teach their classmates new vocabulary words. Then, student leaders led students in actions to remember new words. Love getting students out of their seats and moving whenever possible! #engagePrairie ⁦Prairie Elementary

We answered the questions we brainstormed yesterday using the “numbered heads together” Kagan strategy. Ss worked in groups to answer questions and one student was randomly chosen by rolling a dice to share their group’s answer. #engagePrairie Prairie Elementary

Borrowed this idea from another school. I love how it highlights the strengths of students’ exceptional work. Big and bright for all to see!
