More and more hints arise to the ripe and eager nature of the atmosphere. A lot of support for intense vertical lift and venting of that lift. Very high precipitation rates.

Man how do things keep getting better? NAM even more wrapped up and is going to come even further northwest. This is what I was talking about yesterday. Going to be an absolutely massive run.

Will post a second update to my snow map later this afternoon — if current trends hold, I’m inclined to add a 24-36” contour in NJ and/or eastern PA. Extremely impressive forcing for a slow-moving snow band with snow rates over 2-4”/hour.

We are still up trending in every way. 2 keys to look for, how deep/wrapped up does the 500mb low get and how much we can fan out the 200mb jet. NAM continues to push both of those things further. Which is why we keep seeing this up trending.
