RE: Sunday evening/night: This may be one of those deals where you get a "SURPRISE" under 48 hours from the scheduled start. Surprise in this case = more than just rain/snow showers and NBD. Nothing is certain until it happens. I will continue to acknowledge the possibility.

Head of Instagram says it’s ok to use it all day. Anthropic says coding is over. Microsoft says white collar work is over. Almost like executives have natural incentives to offer opinions that benefit their valuations.

Exactly 💯 Getting a bit tired of the “doomed excitement” with some of these tech bros. I keep saying that if a large portion of the workforce is unemployed, if you think there’s civil unrest now, just wait — and they’ll be coming after the data centers and those that pushed

Realizing American citizens paid $175 billion in illegal tariffs and it’s being refunded to companies instead of back to us.

More and more hints arise to the ripe and eager nature of the atmosphere. A lot of support for intense vertical lift and venting of that lift. Very high precipitation rates.

Man how do things keep getting better? NAM even more wrapped up and is going to come even further northwest. This is what I was talking about yesterday. Going to be an absolutely massive run.

Will post a second update to my snow map later this afternoon — if current trends hold, I’m inclined to add a 24-36” contour in NJ and/or eastern PA. Extremely impressive forcing for a slow-moving snow band with snow rates over 2-4”/hour.

We are still up trending in every way. 2 keys to look for, how deep/wrapped up does the 500mb low get and how much we can fan out the 200mb jet. NAM continues to push both of those things further. Which is why we keep seeing this up trending.

This is key — for all those “sharp cutoff to the NW” folks. This won’t be nearly as extreme as Boxing Day cutoff wise — but will have much bigger impacts area wide

Removing the guardrails and having autonomous weapons is the dumbest fucking thing I’ve heard from this administration, and there have been some whoppers of late. I certainly aren’t very left leaning but this circus can’t end soon enough 😡

The echo chamber is deafening apparently. But outside of said chamber it’s about as far from winning as one can get. 😏
