Today marks the first day of Black History Month! This February and beyond, we celebrate and honor the contributions Black people have made to this country and our great city.

Black history is American history. This month, we take time to honor the incredible contributions Black Americans have made to our state and nation. Let us recommit to justice and equality for all.

The First Ospreys (1st gen club) pres came up to compliment my outfit not realizing it’s me, and shared that she’s moving to Ireland for grad school and staying there. She told me I was the first person who told her it (grad school) is possible. Made me tear up on the spot. 🥹
