Advanced IT students have been working on a Foot Orthosis project in PLTW. They were given a task of creating an orthotic device for a patient with Spastic Hemiplegia. The students researched the condition, drew sketches and were given materials to create a prototype.

I love the message in the book “Grumpy Monkey” by Suzann&Max Lang, which is, it’s ok to feel your feelings and not just slap on a happy face to cover up how you really feel. This lesson is based on the story, but students decide which facial expression they want to use. #stony126
