On #WomenInDiplomacyDay we celebrate leaders such as 🇦🇹 diplomat Benita Ferrero-Waldner who held key positions at the United Nations, in government and with the European Commission. 🙏 to DG Tatiana Valovaya, Director-General of UN Geneva for highlighting women in leadership at the United Nations Geneva photo exhibition “Not a Woman’s Job?”
At the initiative of 🇸🇮🇲🇦🇲🇻🇲🇽🇨🇱🇲🇺🇪🇸, the UN Human Rights Council commemorated Int’l Day of #WomenInDiplomacy! Across continents & cultures, women diplomats turned up in red - to show unity for the cause: 👩💼 more women at the table 💪 dismantle structural barriers 🕊️ no peace without women
