A #gbstudio Tips 🧵: Staging is important. That extends to your actors AND your UI! The player probably wants to see all the characters in a scene so be sure to consider how your UI fits in. Add enough extra space to your maps and be consistent with the number of lines of text.

Wait until you see C.O.P The Recruit, Velez & Dubail's Nintendo DS game where they managed to fit an open world driver-style game set in New York, it has NPCs walking arround and destructible props. All of that running at 60fps with no performance drops.
