Holy Spirit, Alabaster held a Blessing of the Bell following the 10:30 service on Sunday, September 18, 2022. The bell was donated by a a member of the parish several years ago, and will be used to call the people to worship before each service.

On October 2 Bishop G visited St. Catherine's, Chelsea, and two people were received. She also enjoyed the Monster Mash, an event for special-needs children and their families. This event was partially funded by a Parish-Based Outreach Grant from the diocese.
