I was listening to The Line 's podcast where Jen Gerson comments on the missed opportunity for unity with the Coronation. Matt Gurney commented that she had written about the decline of community volunteerism before, however I can't find any pieces - does anyone have a link?

Reminds me of the time as a young LT when I used "hope" in an email, in a lighthearted fashion, which was then followed by TWO meetings to talk about how "hope isn't a plan".
