Meet Bathornis! This small, ground-dwelling predatory bird was related to its more famous cousins, the terror-birds. Huge thanks to Jake for his wonderful work, in bringing Bathornis to life

People are mocking this because the movie has a few bad shots, forgetting they filled the majority of a 2 hour runtime with massive scale monster fights in an entirely CG world that’s beautifully rendered. It’s quite the achievement that the VFX team should be very proud of.
