Dr. Mital Thacker Mital Thacker has been awarded the D.B. Chougule (Burlikar) Gold Medal by University of Pune for the best PhD thesis in Botany. Her work focused on the present and past diatoms of the unique Myristica swamp ecosystems of the Western Ghats with Karthick Balasubramanian at
