Julie’s entire world was this 2 x 4 metal cage. It drove her to insanity. We got her out. But thousands of dogs have been left in a similar state over the last 8 years at Ridglan Farms, despite government acknowledgment that this intensive confinement is illegal and wrong.

One year ago, I went into court and told the story of Julie, the blind beagle puppy we found at Ridglan Farms. This is footage from the morning after we rescued her. Julie was so broken that she struggled to walk, climb stairs, or even stand. There are moments where I am so

This is Julie, shortly after being rescued from Ridglan Farms, trying to climb stairs after a lifetime in a 2 x 4 cage. This shows the damage inflicted on the Ridglan dogs. Many of them struggle to engage in basic tasks because of the psychosis caused by confinement. But this

After 60 years of torturing dogs, Ridglan Farms' breeding operation is shutting down. But the work is not yet done. We need to ensure every last dog from Ridglan is placed in a loving home. And the research arm must close, too. Still, monumental progress. And y'all did it.

This is the blind beagle who inspired a movement. Now this vile place is finally getting shut down. Public pressure works! But we have to get EVERY DOG out.

These poor rhesus monkeys were being shipped to a vivisector's lab when their truck had a horrible accident. You can see that the survivors are discombobulated and scared. But the only help they got was to be shot and killed by emergency response. What a cruel, sick world.

A state senator in Wisconsin just posted on Facebook that she is "concerned about the fate of the 2300 [actually, 2500_+] beagles" who remain at Ridlgan Farms and will be exploring ways to get them out. The attention is working. Give Jodi Habush Sinykin lots of love.

The bar tab of a 1787 farewell party for George Washington is still intact. The Founding Fathers drank 54 bottles of Madeira, 60 bottles of claret, 8 bottles of whiskey, 22 bottles of porter, 8 bottles of hard cider, 12 of beer, and 7 bowls of alcoholic punch. There were only 55
