Raptors salary cap and stats nonsense, mostly.

That was a really good game. These last few games shorthanded have all been really great efforts. Punching above their weight right now. RJ looking great, Gradey is bonkers offensively, Jak solid as ever. Bench still super fun. Loved Walter's debut - the shooting will come.

Hey fantastic win tonight. StarJ in full force, Gradey really good again and was even showing some nice defensive flashes! Boucher and Ochai role player superstars. What a great night to be a Raps fan with the VC jersey retirement as well.

Didn't even bother mentioning it before but worth noting that Gradey's jumper is maybe the smoothest I've ever seen? If he gets his feet under him at all, the ball even touching the rim feels like a surprise. Off the dribble, off curls, set shot... doesn't matter. Crazy heater.

Davion and Shead are both defensive hounds on the ball, but both also have a bit of a habit of getting back cut or losing their guy on the perimeter when off the ball. Will be interesting to see how that develops as the season progresses.

Corner. Merchant. And they've leaned into it this year, for the most part. This SAC game was weird, he was above the break all game. Subtle "development over wins" (tanking) move? He hit a couple, which is good, but he missed more, which helps with the whole losing thing.

Gradey showing more and more the offensive upside. Can do a LOT, building off his shooting threat. RJ showing some of his creation limitations, as teams scout him and hone in on him more and more. Raps don't really have another option right now, need him to adjust.
