Signing off from the curling rink for the final time this season. To the curlers — thank you for your honesty, patience and trust. And to the fans — you’re the best. It’s been a sensational season and I continue to be so grateful for this work and the curling community.

For the first time in Canadian history curlers are the first athletes officially named to Team Canada for the Olympics. Jocelyn Peterman and Brett Gallant qualified at the world championship. Normally trials would be much later. The change makes them the first to the team.

The Toronto Maple Leafs hold on for dear life and get an opening round two victory. Led 4-1 to start the third. Won 5-4. And after last night’s Winnipeg comeback, it feels like maybe, maybe a four goal lead with two minutes left is safe.
