#DESSFS2Green were shocked when they turned up to assembly to see that a big mess had been left on the stage. We are now inspired by Mrs. Naegele to sort the rubbish into materials and either reuse or recycle them ♻️

#DESSFS2Yellow discovered a huge mess in FS2today! Who did it? How will we clear it away? The children talked about how we can sort the rubbish to reuse or recycle.

In todays whole year FS assembly, we talked about the importance of recycling and caring for our planet. The children had great ideas of how we could sort it into corresponding piles. Great job! ♻️♻️♻️#DESSFS2blue

Marvelous Maths today in FS2 Blue! We looked at Big and Small items and compared them by sorting them out for class teddies, Fred and Ginger. Great work 🧮🧸🧸 #DESSFS2blue

#DESSFS2Green have loved making marks and writing secret space messages today underneath our tables. What a great way to develop our fine motor skills and have lots of fun 💪

Barnaby Bear is going on a holiday! However we discovered that some of the baskets were heavy, and some items were light. We then decided to explore objects in the classroom and compared what was lighter or heavier. #DESSFS2orange

Today in our fun phonics lesson, we learned the sound “ck”…. Neck, Sock, Lock, Tick …… we took our learning outside and practiced writing our sound in chalk. We also mastered the tricky word “I” as well as recapping the tricky word “is”. Great learning FS 2 Blue #DESSFS2blue
