ESFD responded to the 2100 E Maple Ave at approx 3:45 this afternoon for an Multi Casualty Incident. A total of 17 patients were experiencing symptoms persistent with possible food poisoning. 8 of the 17 patients have been transported to area hospitals and are in stable condition

ESFD units are on scene monitoring a flare-off, that has occurred in the 300 Block of El Segundo Blvd. The incident is static and there is no immediate threat to the community.

The ESFD is saddened by the tragic passing of CAL Fire Engineer Cory Iverson, while fighting the Thomas Fire in Ventura County. Our thoughts and prayers are with Cory's family and co-workers.

ESFD members are training today on USAR shoring operations. Specifically, they are building shores that are used to support a wall, when a building has been compromised during a collapse from an earthquake or a vehicle striking a building. #allrisk

ESFD Engine-31 and Battalion Chiefs Slover and Bonfield have been deployed to the Santa Barbara mud slides, as a part of the South Bay (Area-G) Strike Team. They will be assisting in the ongoing search and rescue efforts for survivors.

Earlier this am ESFD rescued a construction worker that feel off of a scaffolding onto the roof of a commercial building, in the 2000 Block of E. Imperial Highway. A technical rescue was preformed using T-32. The victim was transported to an area Trauma Center in stable condition

At approximately 6:00pm, ESFD units responded to a commercial structure fire in the 200 Block of Eucalyptus. Units from L.A. County Fire Department and Manhattan Beach FD assisted. Due to the rapid response and quick knockdown, the damage was limited. #allrisk

ESFD personnel just responded to a traffic accident at 302 Vista Del Mar, involving a single vehicle roll-over. Two critical patients were transported via ESFD Paramedic Rescue Ambulances, to a local trauma center. #allrisk
