As Men's Mental Health Awareness Month comes to a wrap, we want to affirm that the wellbeing of the men in our community matters. DCSL is proud to provide a safe space where older adult men can access care and community.

This past Friday, MIMB staff went to Durham Center for Senior Life to present the Versatile Pantry curriculum. Participants were tasked with identifying staple foods they keep in the pantry, brainstorming different meals to make during a power outage, and easy ways to keep your food supply organized.

Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting a group of North Carolina Central University School of Law students who chose to spend their day of service with the DCSL community. They organized an indoor bowling game, led a craft table, and helped serve our congregate meal. We're grateful for their kindness and service!
