Player #119 and indeed the last player to be capped for Scotland in the 1970s. 19th December 1979. Scotland lose 3-1 to Belgium at Hampden. Making his debut that night was Eamonn Bannon of Dundee United. Eamonn won 11 caps in total.

The 6th of our 70s squad players who never won a cap. October 1972 & called into the squad for the match away to Denmark was Peter Marinello of Arsenal. Remarkably Peter had been drafted in after the call off from Bruce Rioch of Aston Villa, who wouldn't be capped until May 1975.
