Can SpacetimeDB run Dungeonpunk? I think it could... It would replace: 1. Server executable 2. PostgreSQL database 3. Mirror Networking I'm building out a prototype this month.

I fix this for all my clients. We self host everything we can. If you're interested in reducing your external dependencies and reducing your bills coming from cloud services let me know.

The world of Bitcraft is big. It feels even bigger because of their system of transportation. There are portals but they are of limited use (portal energy). You can always hoof it, but if you're trying to bring items through a portal it costs more energy. Smart!

Twitter break is over! I've been logging some serious hours on projects to pay the bills, but game dev is happening every day in a scheduled window. I'm feeling optimistic. Like a wave of progress on Dungeonpunk is building.

I came of age playing a N64, one of the best multiplayer systems ever made. Now you can buy a brand new 4k resolution N64. store.analogue.co/products/analo… What a time to be alive.

3 votes in favor. Statistically speaking that’s scientific consensus. Changing specialization should cost something. Time to publish in Nature.

What some people really want is a “this game was made by people who share my political opinions” checkmark, but that would be too on-the-nose so they campaign for proxies like AI disclosure instead.

Should I allow characters to be left handed? Should it be a permanent choice at character creation? What if it were random and permanent? Or should it be flexible, determined by where you put items like in Minecraft?
