Huge step forward on child care access for families in NYC, especially low-income parents and caretakers who need a wide range of options to provide the best care for their children while supporting their families. Thank you Mayor Zohran Kwame Mamdani, NYC ACS and all who developed this vision.

As research has demonstrated, this important new federal guidance is a major step towards supporting families facing challenges, and easing the path to reunification from foster care. It’s also a model example of cross-program collaboration to better serve children and families.
