Another week, another conference. Looking forward to be in Stuttgart for "Zwischen Exzellenz und Expansion: Südwestdeutsche Wissenschaftspolitik im deutschen und europäischen Kontext von 1978 bis heute". I will talk about European research policy and German federalism.

My "month of conferences" is coming to an end! On 25 October I will be speaking at the conference 'Kooperation, Konkurrenz, Ökonomisierung? Wissenschaften in Europa in den 1990er Jahren'.🔬🧪🔭 My talk will focus on the persistent narrative of the so-called 'European paradox'.
