My 16 year old had their last GCSE exam today. I want to go to bed now, and I can usually kick them off their computer about now because they have school in the morning. It’s going to be a long summer.

All hands on deck The Boathouse Inn today, getting ready to re-open after an extensive refurb. It’s been a pleasure to design a pub on my doorstep, looking forward to seeing it back open and busy for the Dragon Boat Race this weekend.

Can’t beat that feeling of seeing designs you’ve worked on looking busy and being enjoyed. To be honest, the glorious weather helps too.

Busy day today with my @PPP_BD hat on showing people around the first building we are negotiating and fundraising for just now. Some really critical things happening over the next couple of weeks, it’s a really exciting project to be part of.

Having developed upper floors of a heritage building with Assembly Bradford I believe one key challenge to overcome is access. Finding sufficient ground floor space to install a lift, and achieve a level threshold into the building is a massive issue. We haven’t solved it yet.
