18 months ago I set up the 1st prison Employment Advisory Board (EAB).Now all 92 release prisons in England and Wales have EAB’s,led by inspirational Chairs who help develop long term cultures of employment in the system,and get people jobs on release. Thanks for believing in me!

A colleague Steve, who’s a serving prisoner on day release, saved a customers life yesterday when they had a heart attack while shopping. His quick thinking, and past career as a paramedic, ensured the customer survived and is doing ok. Thanks Steve for being amazing.

There are skills shortages in hospitality, construction, IT, hairdressing, cleaning and many more. Ex-offenders who leave prison with qualifications in industry could help fill the gaps.
