The main reason I am optimistic about the Vercel / Nuxt acquisition is how they have treated Svelte since acquiring it. If they do the same for Nuxt (which they claimed they will and I believe they will) then I think it’s a net positive for Vue and Nuxt users.

4. learn relentlessly, watch every tutorial & articles online on skills that you lack. as early stage bootstrap founder of a utility app, your specific knowledge is a huge lever.

8. do low level things even you're at huge ARR. write copies. make design. write code. that's the only way to stay connected to the project.

10. personal brand doesn't matter. i run this account for personal connection but not for Rise. all traffic for Rise has nothing to deal with my personal brand. there's real life outside of X.

11. raise or not raise money, the game is the same. build a good product, market it, make money. capital let you leverage other people's time. but the wrong focus or path with leverage only makes you die faster.

14. keep planning because long term thinking gives you peace of mind and clarity. keep doing day to day routine work because consistency gives you momentum and compound interest.

17. the market is huge huge. don't get upset by copycats. be happy to see them. and destroy them with a superior app. whenever you see a copycat growing to $50k/mo, that means your app can defintely have an extra $500k/mo room to grow if you think about how that comp represent.

I got rejected by YC 4 times When Life Reset hit $70k/mo earlier this year I applied again with it, also rejected Now we’re at $500k/mo, still bootstrapped with 100% equity “Getting into YC” is a skill The skill of willing to shape your entire existence, passion and willpower

I'm not impressed by companies raising millions. Or generating millions after beind VC-funded. I'm impressed by bootstrap entrepreneurs who get money with no funding. Even a few hundred per month impresses me more than million VC-funded. It's another game.

The best opportunities in life never look like opportunities. ㅤ If they did, everyone would take them and they would stop being opportunities.

SiteGPT is almost at $13k MRR now. I will get to $20k MRR by the end of the year. Need to add +$7k MRR in 2 months. I will start doing at-least 1 hour of marketing every day until the end of the year. Won’t skip any day. No excuses.

Met the legend Rick Rubin today In society there are a few people who are there to help birth things that touch billions of people, that leave them changed. It's all we hope to do. Rick's way of bringing about coherence from creators he works with is special in all the world.
