According to this, Bove has accepted #nffc’s offer. You’d think the British press should be reporting on it shortly, if this is indeed the case!

Seems like #nffc have some way to go to close the gap between our current offer and Frankfurt’s valuation of Marmoush. Let’s hope we can do it, as quickly as possible, so we’re not running into any issues with the deadline.

Guessing this has come to life after Bove has fallen through. Not quite sure where he fits in a theoretical starting line-up for #nffc but would be an interesting addition who does offer experience and set-piece prowess.

This suggests that it is indeed #nffc that Morato is linked with today. One to keep an eye on for today!

Looks like this one is active for #nffc. Wonder if this means Danilo will not be registered in our 25 man squad for the first half of the season - and we’d reassess our midfield options come the January window. Means we wouldn’t need to rush him back either, which is important!

For the record, I wouldn’t write off #nffc still getting Marmoush. JP made it clear it isn’t over, just not proceeding currently. Not an unknown tactic for Forest to use the deadline to pressure Frankfurt into dropping their asking price. Risky, but viable.

#nffc Interest for Forest - in the Leeds v Milan friendly, Musah played the first 45 and was withdrawn at half time. Seems to have played well, by all accounts. Wonder if his early withdrawal is pointing towards a move? Time will tell.

Seems like the #nffc plan is: Kalimuendo and McAtee to be done soon, then on to Bakwa. Then it’ll be a CM (top option is Fernandes from Southampton, but talks with Musah ongoing. Perhaps nothing in Luiz, no mention from JP). Then onto fullbacks. All under 23 and athletic.

Another #nffc link. 22 year old Spanish RB with a €14m release clause, who can also provide cover at RM and CB. Seems like it fits the bill, given our other recruitment. Also - no AFCON would be a big plus, given Ola will be going.

#nffc strategy appears clear, further reinforced with the Rico Lewis link (Luiz being the exception…) - they want players under 23 with massive talent, and lots of future sell-on potential. Versatile, athletic, and wanting a stage to shine on. I’m a fan of the strategy.
