Being pro-technology doesn't mean being blind to the negative effects of new technology. It's an exercise in pragmatic optimism -- maximizing the upside while managing the downside.

In case you missed it! 💫 Yesterday, I posted about JSON prompting for LLMs. Here's what was covered: - What is JSON prompting - What makes it so powerful - What are better alternatives Check this out👇

How to bring your bookmarks to life with ambient agents. I just built a little Obsidian plugin to take links and summarize them in the background using Claude Code SDK. I've been exploring how to best bring agents to the tools I use every day.

Gemini Pro doesn't get enough credit for being able to upload 1500+ pages of text to reference (several textbooks in PDF form) and cites every response with a link to the text. By far the most useful LLM for specific learning.

Our new Threat Intelligence report details how we’ve identified and disrupted sophisticated attempts to use Claude for cybercrime. We describe a fraudulent employment scheme from North Korea, the sale of AI-created ransomware by someone with only basic coding skills, and more.

RAG is not dead! However, we are in an interesting phase of exploring unique ways to index and retrieve information. This vectorless RAG framework uses a tree structure index in place of vectors. Reasoning models will enable methods that mimic human-like search. Early days!

There is significant unmet demand for developers who understand AI. At the same time, because most universities have not yet adapted their curricula to the new reality of programming jobs being much more productive with AI tools, there is also an uptick in unemployment of recent

AI agents can finally talk to your frontend! The AG-UI Protocol bridges the critical gap between AI agents and frontend apps, making human-agent collaboration seamless. MCP: Agents to tools A2A: Agents to agents AG-UI: Agents to users 100% open-source.

Probably the best AI productivity hack right now: You can set Google AI Mode as the default on Chrome. This way, Gemini gives you: - Instant responses to queries - Multimodal search - Follow-up questions - Access to sources Etc. It only takes a few seconds (see below):

Build agents that can actually do real-world tasks! Agent Reinforcement Trainer (ART) is a framework to train multi-step LLM agents for real-world tasks using GRPO. You just need a few lines of code. No manual rewards needed! ✨ 100% open-source.

New course added! We’re launching “Knowledge Graphs for AI Agent API Discovery,” built in collaboration with SAP and taught by Pavithra G K and Lars Heling. When agents call APIs in the wrong sequence, entire workflows collapse. The challenge? Most agents lack the contextual

There’s a new political divide forming: If you celebrate when an innocent person whose political views differ from you is assassinated you’re gone. Don’t care what that person’s political persuasion is or how strongly you disagree with them. Cant think of one counterexample.

This is one of the most promising directions to improve RAG systems. It involves combining dynamic retrieval with structured knowledge. It helps to mitigate hallucinations and outdated information, and improves knowledge quality. Pay attention to this one, AI devs!

One of the most common uses of "vibe coding" I'm hearing from professional devs, outside of prototyping: Building internal-only tools! Where you don't need to worry about security, scalability, malicious usage. E.g. data visualization / data viewer tools. Used a lot for this!
