Telling 10 million people in Tehran to evacuate is not just unrealistic, it’s impossible. The airports are shut. The roads are blocked and not everyone has a car. The entire nation is being held hostage by the Islamic Republic. Your enemy is Khamenei.ir , not with the innocent

The helplessness of the average Iranian (especially Tehrani) in this scenario is gut wrenching. Many are essentially trapped, with no shelter and exceptionally limited means to brave packed highways that may not even get them out of the city limits.

Israel must take care to spare innocent civilians if major blows are dealt in Tehran. The Iranian people are allies in this fight👇

I’m glad Trump doesn’t care about what Tulsi Gabbard says. Truly. But maybe that’s a sign she shouldn’t be the DNI? Presidents should have a Director of National Intelligence with opinions worth respecting, no?

Supporters of Ukraine who were pro-Trump had a theory of the case - that he would push both sides for peace, Putin would refuse, and then, finally, he would punish Russia and help Ukraine. Instead, Trump just lost interest and walked away, which is exactly what Putin wanted.

Actually, this kind of dysfunction in the relationship between our DNI and President is not so humorous. If she is giving bad intel or shaping it to fit her policy views, she should be dismissed.

“It is likely that Iran will now make a desperate run to nuclear breakout,” says Dan Shapiro. “Trump, in turn, will be faced with a decision about whether to intervene militarily to prevent an Iranian nuclear weapon.” foreignaffairs.com/iran/dan-shapi…

With Trump, any (all?) of these are likely: 1) "I approved strikes on Iran's military. SURRENDER NOW!" 2) "We bombed Iran's largest nuclear facility. They will NEVER go NUCLEAR!" 3) "Just had a GREAT CALL with Khamenei. Tough guy. We reached a deal. IRAN WILL BE VERY WEALTHY!"
