Tonight I received 2 awards at the @stbenedictwcdsb Athletic Banquet. I received the Saint Award for golf, and the 2nd award for being a student athlete with a grade average above 85.

This week I competed in a Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour (MJT) Tournament at the Don Valley Golf Course (Par 73). Day 1 went alright, a couple rough holes. I finished the round at 88 (+15). Day 2…. I played a lot better, and shot an 81 (+8). I finished the weekend at 169 (+23)

Not quite how I had planned this weekends tournament to start off. Day 1, nothing could go right and I finished with the 2nd worst round of the day. Day 2, I’m proud that I was able to come back and finish with the 2 lowest round of the day for the ladies.

Can’t say that I’ve ever played in weather like we had this past weekend. Saturday was 🥵 & ⛈️ & incredibly 💨. Sunday was a whole new level of HOT & Muggy 🥵🥵🥵

Today’s lesson with Coach Dave we worked on swing path and shot shaping.

It definitely inspires and drives me to be like them. I can’t wait to get back and look forward to competing in this event next year.

I achieved a lot of positive goals that I’ve been working on in practice that I can take with me. I just have to work on being more consistent. It was such a great learning experience watching the older girls. The knowledge and skill they have is unbelievable.

Golf Ontario Jr. Girls’ U19 Amateur Championship This was my first time participating in a such a high level tournament. Unfortunately I didn’t make the cut, and won’t be continuing on.

Spring Semester - 3.925 GPA Class of 2028

I swear I’m not intentionally trying to win these. lol 😂 It is convenient though that I have a Booster Juice location right across the street from my school. I might win customer of the year award for how often I’m in there. 😬
