Stunning evening in Dartmoor

It’s Devon Day and thanks to the hard work of the neighbourhood last night, the village is looking particularly beautiful

After a bit of a career break, really lovely to say I’ve joined the wonderful team at Theatre Royal Plymouth as a Casual Lighting Technician! After quite a few projects I’ve worked with them over the years as a freelancer, it’s nice to join the in house team!

Ending the final days of my 20’s as a qualified Manual Handler

Welcomed my 30’s on the harsh unforgiving and beautiful terrain of Dartmoor.

Plymouth really did tempt the gods with their hubris by naming the large concerts on the seafront, the ‘Summer Sessions’ and it’s been pouring with rain here non stop while the rest of the country seems to be having a heatwave.

Most magical time of the year; I’m 3 pints deep in the village local and tomorrow we set up a fête for a tonne of people in the local area. B e a u t I f u l

It’s been a fabulously beautiful, long, hard and chaotic day filled with the best people.

1 year on from joining the Devil Wears Prada 2 years on from being mid tech on Sound of Music at Chichester. Time flies!

And with that, the annual festival Season for the village comes to a close

Happy 1st Anniversary to the 3rd Preview of Prada where Midshow we encountered a bug that caused it to roll from near end of Act 1 to Cue 0.5 giving me 8 seconds to desperately type in the Macro to jump me back to a near right cue while the stage rolled into blackout. Cheers!

Can’t believe I wasted all my time on a career in Musical Theatre when this was an option

Happy Anniversary to the cake the Stage manager bought me because he thought I’d been sacked from Sound of Music because there was 0 cues for me to do

The thing is about that musical’s failure is I’d be at the beating heart of it, if a certain set of unable-to-organise-a-piss-up-in-a-brewery producers hadn’t offered a role, ghosted, blamed a colleague who was ‘on holiday’ then tell me 3 weeks later they’d filled it… Alas…

Spent today running around Totnes in a red dress raising money for Children’s Hospice South West. Brilliant cause and a super lovely day. Raised £250 thanks to the generous people of the South Hams putting change in our buckets!
