The Tories left behind record levels of immigration and an asylum system in chaos.   Labour is smashing the criminal smuggling gangs and securing our borders.

Heard about this last month and was told Seumas Milne was involved, which can’t be right. He’s famously a master strategist and he’d never launch on a Friday afternoon. That’s when he’s heading to the country.

Who would look at this and reach the conclusion that "There is a path from here to a government of the left in Britain."? What a luxury it must be to contemplate the possible long term benefits of a Reform landslide and Prime Minister Farage.

Angela Rayner is right. 👷‍♂️👩‍🔧 The biggest uplift in workers rights in a generation 🏡 Improved rights for renters 🌊 Taking on water bosses 🚂 Rail in public ownership 💵 Wages rising faster than prices All of this & much more in just 12 months 🌹

Our position on recognition of the State of Palestine ⤵️ and in 🧵. We urge the British Government to take this step, which would be backed by a majority of MPs, and most of the Labour movement.

The Employment Rights Bill belongs to working people. It came from our movement, and now it’s Labour govt policy – shaped by unions and backed by millions across the country. ✊ We’re not stepping back. We’re keeping up the pressure until the #NewDeal is delivered in full

👀 Zarah Sultana voted with the Tories in *every* vote on the Employment Rights Bill last night 👀 Including - voting to KEEP strike ballot thresholds - voting to KEEP the Tories’ 2016 changes to political fund ballots

Laurence Turner (@larry_turner) 's Twitter Profile Photo

I'm afraid this is a shambolic response. Zarah voted with the Tories against protections for workers: most of the amendments she voted against repealed Lords' watering-down. Real trade unionists don't undermine their negotiators and then walk into the same lobby as the Tories.

This result must be a wake up call. It’s time to really listen - and to reflect. Voters want the change that we promised - and they voted for. If we want to unrig the system, if we want to make the change we were sent into Government to make, we have to be braver. A labour

Unity over division was a pertinent slogan. The government must now find an agenda which lives up to it. Unite the broad swathes of voters who want economic and national security, reward for hard work, dignity and pride in work and in their communities
