The Atlantic, a pub on St. Mary's, Scilly Isles, Cornwall, where Robert DeCandido PhD and I had sticky toffee pudding. Sorry there's no photo of the pudding, a classic English dessert.

Another must while in Cornwall is a Cornish Pasty (pronounced passtee). Sort of like an empanada with beef and potatoes inside, though there are other varieties. This one is popular as field trip food and can be eaten cold. In the Scilly Isles with Robert DeCandido PhD

A juvenile Mediterranean Gull in flight on a pelagic trip, Isles of Scilly off Cornwall, UK on August 15th, a life bird with Robert DeCandido PhD. As an adult this bird will have a black head and red bill.

From August 6th, on the Scillonian III, crossing from Penzance, Cornwall to St. Mary's, Scilly Isles. A very small part of a flock of Manx Shearwaters. Robert DeCandido PhD and I saw around 1500 of these birds in many flocks during the 3-hour trip.
