What a start to the Capitol City Classic by Gylan Payne. The Oregon City senior cold dropped a triple double of 18 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists in a performance that every bit matched the numbers with its dominance. All this with Western Oregon Wolves Athletics coaches in attendance.
Even with an injured hand, Alarion Scott got the job done. 16 points on a number of tough finishes in the paint and he was rewarded for running the floor. The Oregon City sophomore forward pulled down 6 rebounds as well.
We picked Eli Hopkins as our TRL Newcomer of the Year and the Oregon City sophomore has made us look good so far this season. Solid game at the Capitol City Classic tonight with 11 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 blocks.
