Congrats to Prof Kate Trumbull-LaValle, Director & Producer of KILLFACE, which premiered at the 2024 Mimesis Documentary Festival as part of their program Movement Aloud on August 14, 2024! The film also took home the Audience Award in Documentary Arts!

Congrats to recent #BeachFilm alum and director of SUNCHONG, Yoontaek Hong! Yoon’s film was screened at the Mill Valley Film Festival! This year marked its 47th year as one of the premier film festivals in the U.S., showcasing over 200 films from more than 50 countries.

Our alums are doing BIG (and fancy) things! Shout out to #BeachFilm alum, Riley Hodgson who had the opportunity to represent the Television Academy Foundation in the Giving Suite at the 76th Emmy Awards! Riley is currently a Development Fellow with 44 Blue Productions.

Congrats to #BeachFilm student, Lesly Beltran who's currently a Universal Studio Group Business Affairs intern. She supports the Business Affairs department in tracking and reviewing various insurance certificates, PDMs, Deal Memos/Deal Terms, and Agreements for NBCUniversal!
