I think the etiology of ME/CFS probably involves a combination of factors—where e.g. prior toxic chemical exposure (actual or due to genetic/epigenetic vulnerability to 'normal or expected' chemical exposures) primes the system for subsequent infectious triggers and so on.

Can’t disagree

If oxygen can’t enter tissue in ME/CFS due to impaired extraction or damaged, sparse capillaries, maybe waste, signals, and biomarkers can’t exit either? Could poor microcirculation 'trap' pathology in tissue, leaving blood tests falsely “normal”?
