Students from Mohan Babu University, Tirupati visited CSIR-NEERI Hyderabad Zonal Centre, interacted with scientists, explored labs, and learned about sample collection, analysis and research in water and air quality.

Study by Samuel Jacob et al. in Green Chemistry(2025, IF: 9.3) highlights green chemistry-based digestate valorization via biofertilizers, PHA, biochar, etc., supporting circular bioeconomy and net-zero targets.

Study by Soma Ghosh et al shows long-term arsenic exposure in West Bengal alters gut microbiota, reduces diversity, affects key species, and highlights potential for microbial therapeutics to mitigate arsenic-induced health effects.

CSIR-NEERI signed an MoU with IGMC Nagpur for joint research, faculty/student exchange, and academic collaboration to explore the impact of environmental pollution on human health and advance interdisciplinary research.

Dr. Parag R. Gogate (ICT Mumbai) delivered a lecture on hydrodynamic cavitation, highlighting its role in degrading dyes, pesticides and insecticides, with enhanced efficiency through advanced oxidation for cost-effective wastewater treatment.

CSIR-NEERI licensed a GIS-based IoT dashboard to M/s Biomimicry Technologies under Jal Jeevan Mission for real-time monitoring of rural water supply—boosting transparency and service. Joint effort led by CSIR-CSIO.

ToT of “Water Service Delivery Monitoring Suite” for rural tubewells transferred to M/s Biomimicry Technologies. Jointly developed by CSIR, India labs (CSIR-CSIO CSIR-NEERI CSIR-CEERI CSIR-CMERI CSIR-CSMCRI (Official)), it monitors water quality parameters with real-time cloud updates.
