We loved growing herbs this summer and selling them at Inverness Street Market in Camden Town. It was lovely to meet the Mayor of Camden, an alumna of Camden School for Girls! Mayor of Camden Kateryna Law

Today we kicked off the speaker programme with special guest, renowned economist Mariana Mazzucato Mariana Mazzucato. To a packed hall, she outlined some of her ideas about repositioning the relationship between the public and private sectors. A fascinating start to the year.

A fabulous assembly today by journalist, writer, and alumnus, Ismail Einashe Ismail Einashe. His own story and analysis of migration and whose stories are told held the audience spellbound. Great questions from the floor as well. Check out his latest book, Look Again: Strangers.

So great to hear actor David Nellist davey nellist ⚽️❤️ talk about his life and work this week. The importance of self belief and passion, but also hard graft and teamwork were the take aways. Good luck with the remaining I, Daniel Blake dates.

At today's assembly we met Natasha Natasha Friend, Director of Camden Giving, a local charity who put funds in the hands of the community. A highly enjoyable and interactive session, discussing and voting on proposals. Interesting and insightful questions from the floor.

We absolutely loved hosting artist Cornelia Parker Cornelia Parker this week. Her talk took us through her fascinating work including her latest film, 'The Future (sixes and sevens)' . Our sixth form audience was seriously impressed . Thanks Cornelia.

An excellent presentation from The Politics Project The Politics Project this week. An engaging and totally non-partisan explanation of the UK electoral system and why voting is important for young people. Great work and thanks for coming.

Many thanks to Athena and Nadia from St Mungo's St Mungo's for sharing with us the charity's work challenging homelessness over the last 50 years. Our students learnt about their work generally and specifically about the extra challenges homeless women face can face.

It was wonderful to hear Fiona Millar Fiona Millar speak about her career at the sixth form assembly today. Her clear sighted views on gender equality, politics and education inspired many questions from the audience.
