This is no longer a theoretical conversation. The transition is already taking place. The time is now to build a financial future that’s more open, accessible, and resilient. Read my full thoughts here: ft.com/content/11c497…

This is actually an old argument, but one that is especially important now due to US federal and state governments seeking to increase investment in BTC. More pointedly, Bitcoin has NEVER been perfectly secure and there has always been some finite cost for a 51% attack on Bitcoin

Glass Half Full: Having dedicated teams to scale the L1 separately from continuing work on scaling via L2 is exactly the policy that my recent work with Campbell Harvey (camharvey.eth) and Ruslan founds to be the best direction for Ethereum Foundation. Justin Slaughter I would go one step further and say it's a fight about expertise claims in general. E.g. if you want to make them, your results have to be tested. It would be telling who objects to that.

Not true. David, you should know better than this! Shame on you. Stablecoins must have a 1:1 segregated reserve. This is like saying checking and savings accounts will be raided to pay out money market funds at a bank doing custody for them. As in, it is a lie.
