Out supporting our grouting contractors at Tardebigge Lock 31 yesterday afternoon. Picture is of works below the lock to repair the towpath wall and stop leakage, being undertaken by one of our internal construction teams.

Few site visits last week I forgot to tweet about. Handrail review for holding repairs at Chirk Tunnel, had to go and have a quick look at the adjacent aqueducts afterwards. Amazing feat of engineering!

Carreghofa and Frankton lock flights on the stunning Montgomery Canal last week. Assessments made for potential future repairs

Caldon Canal lock assessments today. Started off at Flint Mill (other lock here is Woods near Cheddleton

Then on to the pair at Cheddleton. Industry one side, countryside on the other!

Following Cheddleton was the 3 at Hazlehurst. Always extra cold in winter here, being so open!
