Another year, another "I didn't get an Art Writers Grant." I wish they gave feedback on applications. It's not transparent to have only two jurors and not get any feedback. I understand the amount of work that takes, but there's way to get around this, like with scoring rubrics.

Should I just go to Transmediale? I've never been. Will it be fun? I *should* be able to pitch an article somewhere to cover some of the trip, right?

If you’re serious about art press freedom, then make zines! This punk, anarchist, DIY form has been around forever and it doesn’t require advertising or a board. Zines rarely make people rich and famous, however.

For @nbakercahill, climate crisis is not a distant future. Living in California, the artist says it’s inescapable: “You breathe it.” Her AR works make that known as a vivid responsibility, all while keeping our fellow and future kin in mind. culturedmag.com/article/2023/1…

I'm not often on Ex-Twitter anymore, but I am here to say that I had a wonderful time chatting with @nbakercahill for Cultured Magazine, which has been publishing some really nice artist and curator interviews and write-ups lately.

I'm so happy that I'm posting this on Twitter. I have an article in Art Journal!!! However, I'm listed a Visiting Associate Professor, which isn't true. #plastic #toxicity #activism #60s tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.10…
