Described last year, Sidersaura is the largest known rebbachisaurid(not counting animals based on lost fossils). At 18-20 meters in length and 15 tons in weight, it would outweigh a modern African elephant by about 3 times. Art by Jæssica ßababi (คนไทยน้าาาา)

RIAMUS - commissions open again! Indeed they did, in Africa where they survived until the end of the Early Pleistocene about 1 millon years ago. Sidenote still crazy how we went from all these species in the Pleistocene to the just 3 extant Proboscidean species we see today.
