I'm giving a paper on Friday 9th. Come hear about 'The Wind of Change: Zephyr as Engineer of Character Development in the Romance of Perceforest', where I'll be discussing the (failed) intellectual/spiritual education served by Zephyr's tricks on the knight Estonné! #IMC2021

I'm sooo looking forward to this! Come join us (as speaker or attendee) for a fun day of round tables on late medieval rights and wrongs.

Dear friends! Xanthos is taking a temporary hiatus from accepting new manuscripts & publishing new issues. We're not closed, just taking a break to reconfigure & re-prioritize. We're grateful to our talented contributors, editors, & reviewers! Coline Blaizeau Exeter Modern Languages & Cultures

Before Covid, I had my own desk on campus - which meant I could surround myself with beautiful pictures of medieval art/writing. Today, I found the perfect spot to fill this gap in my life. Table 6 of the Forum Library is (unofficially) mine from now on!

Funny how some of my research looks like it's going to be relatively easy to write about then actually takes forever. And some looks really difficult but the writing is over in no time. Today is the latter, and I'm a happier human for it!
